3. HEALTH HAZARD IDENTIFICATION
Avoid all unnecessary exposure to any
laboratory chemical as part of a good personal laboratory safety hygiene
program.
4. FIRST AID
EYE CONTACT: Flush eyes with copious amounts of water for
15 minutes. Assure adequate flushing by
separating the eyelids with fingers.
Call a physician as required.
SKIN CONTACT: Remove contaminated clothing. Wash skin with soap and water for 15
minutes.
INHALATION: Remove to fresh air. If
breathing becomes difficult, call a physician.
INGESTION: Wash out mouth with water. Call a physician as required.

Extinguishing media: water spray, carbon
dioxide, dry chemical powder or foam.
Wear self-contained breathing apparatus. May emit toxic fumes under fire conditions.
6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
Use appropriate personnel protective measures
to minimize direct contact with skin or eyes.
Wear chemical safety goggles and impervious gloves
to clean up spills. Clean up spill, hold in sealed bags for disposal. Ventilate
